Valentine's Dinner Sunday, February 14, 2016 @ February 14, 2016Pre-Valentine's dinner! Or rather, not. Haha. Cause according to my bf, as quoted, "with me everyday is valentine day" And so, no Valentine's cause it's also 初七 aka 人日 Back to topic! Wang Dae Bak for dinner! We were really early. They opened at 5:30 and we are the first customers!  See the empty tables?  Top left and clockwise: Tofu with soy sauce, kimchi, sugared ikan billis, marinated Korean flat fish cakes and mashed potatoes! Love: mashed potatoes were really well seasoned with cucumbers, carrots and corn kernels Kimchi was well marinated but a little spicy Sugared ikan billis was really crispy, so irresistible! And the fish cakes! Don't know why I liked it so much. Finished a portion by accompanying it with kimchi Spicy food is so good and so appetising!  Menu states that it's good for 2 pax! But, portion's pretty big. 3 or 4 could share with another dish A lot of sausages and spam in it. And rice cakes too. Soup was alright, not too spicy but flavourful.  My favourite! The reason why we came here today! It's like a pizza. So much cheese! And the edges of the kimchi pancake's so crispy. Two of us really can't finish these two dishes:( And so, this is what's left:   But...  So oily but so yummy! The total bill set us (or rather him hehe) back by $72 Quite a pricey meal but it's good for 3-4 pax! Gonna be back for BBQ and free flow egg!
