Braised meat rice and more taiwan foodles! Tuesday, January 12, 2016 @ January 12, 2016五分埔食堂。魯肉飯。排骨酥湯。
Stumbled on this place after our shopping at wufenpu.
To get to wufenpu, there's two train stations that are nearby. Namely houshanpi (blue line - bannan line) or songshan (green line - zhonghe-xinlu line).
We used songshan station this time.
Take exit 4 and turn left.
Walk all the way till u see Cosmed.
Then walk all the way straight for about 5 - 10 min (depending on how fast u walk) and wufenpu will be on your left.
The eatery is opposite on the right.
Did not take a pic of the whole front but this is where you get takeaways.
For dine in, grab one of the clipboards and a pencil and fill in your order whilst waiting for them to seat you.
We ordered three items!
This is Mushroom and Chicken Soup
Had a strong whiff of sesame smell and taste.
Great for such a cold rainy day:)
Large intestines 大腸頭 TWD55 (~S$2.42)
This is sooooo good man!
It was clean but don't take too much of the brown sauce cause it's quite salty.
Chewy and Yums!
But be warned that there's a pretty strong innards smell so those who can't take the smell might want to skip this.
And now to the star of the show:-
The large portion's TWD40 (~S$1.76)
But small is good for trying and sharing so you can have more Taiwan food!
There're fats on it but you have to mix it well with the rice.
Till it becomes like this:-
Look at the rice glistening.
It's just so flavourful and the meats left are purely meat and the skin.
So it's tender meat with the chewy rice and skin.
Makes me drool whilst typing this.
If only sg has this and at this price!
I'll totally have they for breakfast everyday!
