A must-do singaporean thing during the durian season Thursday, July 16, 2015 @ July 16, 201523rd June 2015 A top must-do thing during the months of June to July. Like what most ppl know, singapore is, of course, famous for this king of fruits. Having lived in singapore since like forever~~ This fruit is no stranger to me And it's definitely something that I'll gladly devour when it's made available! And so, due to the really really humid weather we are currently (and have been) experiencing, which is apparently ideal for the durians, our supplies of durian shot up beyond expectation! So much so that you're now able to get durians for as little as $0.50. And the famous breeds like Mao Shan wang, they have been reported to have been sold for as little as $5 per piece What a deal, right?! Now, here's the more interesting part. On top of just the normal ala carte choosing of this famed fruit, some fruit stalls in geylang are offering the all-you-can-take bag for $6! A whopping 6 bucks! Yes, you heard me right!  But they're the small cute ones. There's also some big ones, but apparently the small ones are the nicer ones.  All these for $6! Real cheap huh!
