Yew Seng and co coffee and Bendemeer food centre Sunday, June 21, 2015 @ June 21, 2015Headed down to Yew Seng and Co for traditional coffee today! The reno show done by belinda on channel 8. They have the kinds that the coffee shop served, really thick kinds and the kinda for you to savour at home as well as the White coffee! Which he gladly obliged:) Came with the intention of paying for my cuppa but he said it was done for us to try. Really nice! And the cup's really cute! After letting us taste the original with a little bit of sugar, he enthusiastically asked if we would like to add some milk to the coffee for a different kind of experience (Still pysched about the cute small old school cups!XD) Overall, we still prefer the ones without milk! And we love the fragrance of the freshly blended coffee. The smell just seeps through the sealed bag. And it's warm to touch too! Love this experience! Address of this place before I forget:- 30 Bendemeer Road Singapore 330030 It's the shop that's at the right-most end. Really near to the food centre. After coffee, time for our brunch! One of my fav place for porridge! Next to a stall selling ban mian and fish soup. This is pork and century egg porridge. A rather hearty bowl of porridge with lots of ingredients! All for just $3. It's really hard to find such places in sg selling such quality yet affordable food. And they added this 東菜 (some preserved veg) Which made the taste of the porridge even better! Added another flavour to it so we don't get sick of it while having it. Fishball noodles ($3) Homemade fishballs! What else can I say. And the soup's delicious too! Noodles' very springy and Al Dente Shop's diagonally opp the porridge stall. Both at Bendemeer food centre! Gonna have to head back for more goodness soon!:) Labels: Bendemeer food centre, coffee, fishball, freshly blended, noodles, porridge, traditional, Yew Seng and co |
