Char casual dining Sunday, May 4, 2014 @ May 04, 2014Char Cantonese Cuisine Went for this famous char siew place early April and only managed to finish blogging now. Well, here's it!
Menu!
Our full-of-stems sambal balachan kang kong
Saw the table next to us with a plate of the same full of leaves:(
This is the only bunch of leaves we got for $10
Three roasts - $20
Noticed tt if you order their meats alone, there's a minimum 300g order for their char siew, where it's priced at $5/100g.
It's really pricey for me so we got the three roasts which seems like a better deal
Char siew
They used the pig trotter part which made the meat really tender but was a little too charred for my liking.
Marinate was sweet but nothing special besides the tenderness of the meat
Next up's the roast pork
And the meat's also fairly tender.
Roast duck
Overall, worth a try for the roasts but not for the veg
Address is
393 guillemard road
And do note that they're closed on Mondays!
Oh! And they serve set meals for lunch.
So I do not know the price diff
