The Dark Knight RIses Monday, July 23, 2012 @ July 23, 2012Dark Knight Rises Watched this yesterday evening!=) Was a 2 hrs 45 min movie Pretty long but was necessary for the details and build-up they wish to emphasize. The first hour was a bit boring. Telling us the introduction of the various characters. Cat woman(Anne Hathaway) a.k.a. Selina Kyle was a new character in the movie. She plays the role of a woman who, with her female friend, goes to steal rich man's property. Her justification being the rich has too much to spend whereas the poor don't even have enough to eat. So she's like the female version of Robin Hood. Then there was Miranda Tate, an investor and interested party in the Wayne Enterprise w.r.t. the energy saving project. She's a socialite whose very environment conscious and wishes to come up with a renewable energy source that can supply the world's needs wholly. She then became a loved one of Bruce a.k.a. Batman. And was captured and forced to give the renewable energy source to Bane(bad guy in this show) There was an interesting twist to the characters in this show and I believe many, including myself, would be/already have been surprised. Another character is John Blake, whose real name is Robin, I think you'd know what his purpose would be in this show is. He's a policeman who believes that Batman was the good guy and not the bad one. Cause he know who Batman's real identity is. He started to investigate the underground activities after one of his boys in the orphanage was killed and found at the end of the sewer. He went on to investigate the matter and was given permission by the police comissioner. To know more, watch the show! Best part of the movie is the vehicles and gadgets Batman used. The motorbike was really cool!!! Totes awesome!^^ The wheels could just turn with a button instantly! Where could you find such a motor in shows?! Besides that, pretty exciting show towards the second half. Shan't spoil it for those who have not watched. P.S. YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT FOR THE MOTOR BIKE AT LEAST =) |
