Anyway, she explained to me what type of lash I would be entitled to. I had purchased the more expensive type of lash, nova minx lash. She said it was 40/60% lighter than the usual eyelash extensions. Curl type is the J curl so it's more natural. Sounds really great! But still, had to try it before agreeing. She had also recommended that I top up to get more lashes as this groupon only consists of 40 lashes on each side which would portray a more natural look. But with the top up, it'll be thicker and more obvious. Can't rmb how much the top up was but should be ard $28-40? Did not get the top up cause I only wanted the natural look and not too obvious type.

And so, my extensions began.

The lady boss also explained that our lashes grow 1mm per week. And that the length of time the extensions would last is correlated to the length of your lash. She told me that my lashes are 4mm long so the extensions would lash ard 2.5 weeks. I guess that's when it should start to fall mostly.

She asked if I would like to add on to my package to get the more dramatic effect. So the number of lashes used would be increased from 40 (the groupon package) to 120.

She first helped me to clean my lashes then she proceeded to help me put on the extensions!

The whole process was painless definitely and rather enjoyable as we chatted on many things! It was really nice and time passed so quickly. Before I knew it, she was done with both eyes and she did some brushing of the lashes to comb it neatly.

She also did something that I've never experienced before. She used a jet water spray to spray my lashes. She told me that this set of extensions love water. Extremely water resistant. Which was really great! She also mentioned that she has customers who, after doing these extensions, went on with their gym sessions and exercises and the lashes remained intact. Listening to this made me so excited! So much so that I went for a swim a few days later. :)

Anyway, this is how my lashes turned out to be!

Much longer and looks thicker than before right? She mentioned that she used around 50 lashes on each eye.

She helped me to take these photos to see that the lashes were evenly spread out.

How long they lasted

My lashes lasted me almost 2 months! One lash dropped out on 2 days after the extensions then it stopped. It was almost 3 weeks later that one more started dropping out every few days. But I guess cause there were many so I couldn't really see the diff.

After about 5-6 weeks, then more started to drop. It was about 6-7 weeks that the lashes started to look thinner.

There were still visible lashes there! I'm really impressed with how long they stayed on. Wouldn't mind going back there for more of these extensions!
