Lobster Ramen
Saturday, September 17, 2016 @ September 17, 2016

Bf and I had lobster ramen for dinner!
Whilst queuing, we tried out the snap chat camera function

Queue for the ramen was pretty fast! Approximately 45 minutes. Not as long as we expected it to be. Ppl kept moving and their tummies filled. Finally it's our turn and we got seats at the counter.
Free hard boiled eggs and marinated beansprouts! Beansprouts were marinated with black pepper and sesame oil. Quite nice but I personally don't like the head and tail of the sprout. Love the free flow eggs!
Our orders! I had the rich broth one (白湯) and he had the clear soup (清湯). Our orders started coming in as my bf finished peeling the 2nd egg.
Bf's order of clear soup ($13.90) with additional prawn wantan ($1)
We didn't know there's already a prawn wantan included. Oh wells. But the prawn wantan was pretty good. One small prawn that's well seasoned. Though the skin was really huge. Probably about 5 times the size of the prawn.

My rich broth ($14.90) with deep fried prawn ball ($1)
Love the soup! It's like lobster bisque but the milder version though still very rich. The deep fried prawn ball was really springy and it's made with prawn meat and some flour with seasonings. The chicken cha shu was braised with mirin (I think, as there was a huge alcoholic taste and smell) but the meat was extremely tender and went really well with the soup. The pork cha shu was well marinated, just like their other ramen branches. I could have it with a bowl of rice or on its own!

Very filling meal from the rich soup, the ingredients given and the free flow eggs! Worth a try and the
queue!
