Zhong Zhong Five Spice Rolls Sunday, January 10, 2016 @ January 10, 2016At bukit timah area this afternoon! And so we headed to bukit timah food centre for a late high tea to ease my growling stomach. Intended to have satay bee hoon before flying off the next day but it was sold out by the time we were there. Oh wells. So next up is Zhong Zhong five spice roll! $16 portion for almost 2! So there's -liver roll -five spice roll -ngoh hiang -tau kua (beancurd) -century egg -sotong (orange on the edges and white on the inside) -red meat (don't rmb what it's called but always available at every five spice roll shop) But the bee hoon really isn't much. Just enough for an appetiser portion. Hehe🤓 Love liver rolls for its taste of the innards. Those who don't like innards won't take a fancy to these. The century eggs were not bad too! And eat it together with the ginger to reduce the brine taste of the yolk. The ginger's preserved with sugar in them so it's sweet and sourish! Very appetising!
