First movie in 2016, Taiwan!
Wednesday, January 13, 2016 @ January 13, 2016

Watched our first movie of the year and our first movie in Taiwan!
TWD249 (~S$10.97) for a ticket on Tuesday plus a medium drink and popcorn!
Not bad right?
Quite worth it!
Us with the tickets!
The bottom part is to be thorn off for redemption of the drinks and popcorn.
Looks quite big huh!
Couldn't finish them all.
Only managed to finish half the popcorn.
Cinema 3!
The hall number's on its door.
So cute!
The seats!
Though pic's not too clear cause it's rather dark in there.
But the seats were really comfy.
The cushion kinds.
Movie trailers started at 2240 sharp!
For five minutes without any advertisements.
Which surprised me cause I thought advertising in cinemas would be one of the more competitive markets.
Probably Taiwanese ppl don't go to the movies that often.
We watched Sherlock Holmes: The Abdominable Bride.
Didn't quite get the show though it was in English with Chinese subtitles.
Felt it was pretty confusing with the switching back and forth the past and the present.
However, the ending was not bad!
After credits told of what and why the things are there.
And a close up on certain items.

Great experience at their cinema even though there weren't much movie-goers.

Cabbed home like yesterday.
Though I felt like the cab fares in tw seem to have risen over the year.
For the cabs that have the driver's name printed on the doors, with the 個人 (personal) words on the top of the car, fares start from TWD 90 (~$3.97)
Almost the starting fare of sg cabs.
But inclusive of midnight charges.
Though I must say that the meter do jump pretty quickly.
A trip from ximending to Zhongxiao dunhua station area cost us TWD220 (~9.69).
Which I thought to be quite pricey.
Don't rmb cabs being so expensive in my past few trips.
Anyway, still a nice place to visit:)
