Chir Chir (치르치르) korean fried chicken
Friday, February 6, 2015 @ February 06, 2015

And so, whilst looking for a place to eat last night at 313 Somerset, we chanced upon this 2-day old korean fried chicken shop at basement 4.

Did not read any reviews but the fried chicken on the menu looks good so we headed in to give it a try!

There's this cute looking claw-liked clamp that seems to be an aid to pulling your chicken apart.

Pretty simple layout with their theme revolving around chicken(well, that's what they're selling)

Business seems pretty good for a thur night!
Here's our order!
Just two items for the two of us.
Mac and cheese($9.90)
Was cheesy around the centre but that's just it.

Normal and not something that would make me wanna come back for.
Then again, this is just the side dish and not the main star we're look for.

Nest snow ($32.90)
It's freshly whipped cream at the top according to their menu.

Chicken was the spicy kind so it's really good that the sauce is like a cream based soup with broccoli and olives though I don't really fancy the olives.

The creamy soup, cheese as well as the whipped cream did help reduce the spiciness of the chicken.

Overall not a bad dish but not really a place that I'll go back again and again cause of the price.
Kinda expensive and not really filling.
Hahah.

Worth a try though!
