Brunch on a Saturday Saturday, November 30, 2013 @ November 30, 2013Had brunch today with kk Headed to spruce at tanglin road Seemed pretty  The place seems a little inaccessible without a car though Looked like quite a distance to walk or had to change bus? Hahas No idea how to get there on my own Menu  Things here are pretty pricey for a place like this   Cafe latte - large ($9) Coffee was not bad though So glad I got the large one The coffee was a little bitter and fragrant. Coupled with the warmed milk. Makes it good with a lightly sweetened cake or muffin and a good read    But after clarification with the waiter there, they mentioned that if you wanted it not so cooked then you could request for it  Seems a little like the egg from a ramen stall. Those with the runny yolk. The corn waffle was not bad There was two different textures to it cause besides the fact that they used corn flour in their mixture, they mixed the corn kernels in too. So it's like chewy and in every few bites, there's the crunch and the lovely sweet corn juice bursts out in your mouth Didn't try the prawns one cause there was an ant crawling on the plate:( But kk didn't mind and just swept the ant away. *shivers* still Don't like bugs Hahas Doubt I'll go back there cause of the limited menu and it's really pricey!
