Day 2 of Taiwan trip 2013 part II - taroko tour

Booked a cab for the whole day at NT$3000.
The cab uncle brought us from 9am for a Taroko tour
From what I understand, Taroko's a park nature reserve of Taiwan Hualien.
And so, we begin our journey at 清水斷涯 
On the way there...





Photo stop!
We walked down to the beach.
And the sand was really, really, really hot!
It was like ouch ouch ouch all the way.
The sea water was like a nice

One really hot and the other really cold

The beautiful pebbles 
Look at the huge waves! 
Moving on
We went further up and reached another photo stop!

Steep cliff!


Only one way. When you walk the down the stairs, turn right and walk all the way up 
First stop! 

Bought 冰棒（ice Popsicle) NT$25



Went for lunch after this long walk
The uncle actually expected us to finish the 3.9km walk to and back in 40 min
Taiwanese sure do walk fast!

Lunch! (NT$200 for set with drink and yam pudding dessert)
Went to walk up a hill to get to 水簾洞
Didn't bring camera cause the uncle said we will get wet
Walked through the cave to get our spring water!
It was really clean and refreshingly cold!
We walked through 8 caves to get there and it was cooling throughout the walk 

Going to a bridge 





長春寺
The waterfall is man made one

Didn't manage to go there cause there were many ppl and coaches and cars
But took photos from the cab!

Now on the way to the night market for dinner!:D
Famished after all these walking! 
Hopefully I'll manage to lose weight with today's exercise! Hahas!
