As u can see from the photo below, it's wagyu D Rump Top is mine and bottom's my friend's See the difference in size? Mine's so small and puny! Though its unlimited servings but isn't that a bit sub standard to provide two such big different size? Anyway, mine's supposed to be medium well(70% done) But apparently it came out to be well done. My friend's one is to be medium rare(~40-50%) But was medium well. So yeah.
The prime rib was full of tendons and the edible portions weren't really much. Beef cheek was tender but a bit lacking in the bite. But for $26 per pax for this, doubt I'll be going back there. Service was really slow. Had to ask them thrice for the red wine sauce and water. And even if its a buffet, at least make the outcome of the meat better? Just because we can reorder doesn't mean we don't ask for the doneness of the meat to be done in any way. Some standard is to be set for this. Ain't gonna pay $43.90++ (original price) for this buffet. Not worth it.
